Our consultants are qualified experienced teachers. We regularly run sessions in schools and training centres for Teachers and TAs in the use of technology in the curriculum and between us are proud to be accredited trainers for 2Simple, Classroom Monitor, Learning Ladders, Smart, Promethean, STEM and CEOP Online Safety Ambassadors.
We are based two days a week in Camden City Learning Centre in London where we model teaching pupils using technology to support learning across all age groups and subjects, deliver teacher training, and run projects with schools.
All of our courses are full of simple, practical ideas, and delivered in a lively, hands on style. Although Hertfordshire based, we also work with carefully selected talented trainers across the UK to bring you the most cost effective solutions.
We promise that you will USE the software and equipment yourself and not just listen to us
After a successful teaching career working in EYFS, KS1 Ks2 and KS3 , in 2001 Mary moved to training in ICT , firstly with schools and colleges on education software and hardware, then ECDL training for a large Local authority project.
As well as her work with Camden, Mary works with Grow Education with their LDBS schools delivering Online Safety and Computing training support and is on the online safety subcommittee of the Camden Children’s Safeguarding board. She has travelled the length and breadth of the UK on MOD sites to deliver Interactive Screen training projects and has delivered training for schools and MOD sites in Belgium, Switzerland, Malta, Cyprus and the Turkish Republic of Cyprus which she loves as she spends her spare time either travelling, or planning trips for herself and others.
Anita is a qualified primary school teacher and has been a deputy and acting headteacher of three different London primaries.
Since leaving a school-based role she has worked for three different London Local Authorities in an Advisory/Training capacity and now works with Camden and Hertfordshire Schools regularly. She is also a school Governor. Following many happy years working across London schools she’s been running her independent education consultancy business.
In her spare time she enjoys running…..a lot!
Our thoughts on training
One of the difficult things about technology in any workplace is finding time for staff to focus on improving IT skills.
With so many new initiatives to keep up to date with it can sometimes be overwhelming for teachers, trainers, meeting leaders and instructors to muster enthusiasm for yet another IT system they need to get to grips with.
Whether you need specific Interactive Whiteboard training, Social Media awareness or staff need to learn about the changes to Microsoft’s latest Office suite we can work with your staff to learn what they need, at their level.
Having sat through hours of PowerPoint led sessions ourselves, we believe that training needs to be interesting, hands-on, relevant and of as much practical use in your workplace or classroom as possible.
Our training and workshop sessions are always fun, hands-on, and will be run at your pace, not ours!
